Vocational Studies - Level 1 Introductory Diploma - 1 year

This course is all about improving your confidence and personal skills. It is a personalised learning programme which means that it is tailored to what you need in order to progress on to further training, employment or study.

You will find out about opportunities for work in the IT and Business industry and develop transferable skills, attributes and behaviours needed for learners to progress to further study and ultimately to employment.

This course offers visits with external local and IT businesses such as Telefonica headquarters in Leeds. Other trips and visits to employers allow students to see how the world of IT actually works. Employability opportunities are facilitated through visits to Magna careers fair. Also visits to the National Science and Media Museum allowed students to develop their creativity within IT.
