5th January 2021 Update - Message for students

Hi everyone

I hope that you are keeping safe and well.

I am sure that you will have heard yesterday’s announcement that schools and Colleges across England will be closed to the majority of students from now until February.  This means that all lessons will now be Remote Learning until further notice.  Teachers are in Sixth Form today planning this, so be aware that your teachers may be in touch with you.

I have already received lots of messages from students who are understandably worried about the January examinations.  Although the current guidance is that BTEC and other vocational examinations will go ahead as planned, we are seeking further advice.  We hope to have more information by lunchtime today, and as soon as we do I will contact you.  I am really very sorry for the uncertainty, but things are moving very quickly.  Please keep checking emails and the website for updates throughout the day.
