We were delighted to come together as a community to celebrate World Hijab Day at our sixth form, marking the occasion with a day full of learning, reflection and connection.
Students and staff enthusiastically took part by trying on hijabs, contributing thoughtful messages to our “What Hijab Means to You” reflection board, and taking home complimentary hijabs that were available throughout the day. The atmosphere was vibrant and uplifting, with plenty of meaningful conversations taking place across the sixth form.
It was truly inspiring to see the diverse ways in which the hijab is understood and valued by members of our community. Events like this highlight our commitment to inclusion, respect and celebrating the cultures and experiences that make our sixth form such a welcoming place to learn.
A wonderful day that reminded us of the importance of empathy, understanding and celebrating diversity together.
