Yesterday, Audie our HeppSY Co-ordinator and Stephen, our Senior Academic Tutor, went down to Portcullis House in London to the National NEON Awards for Widening Access to Higher Education, hosted by Sir Les Ebdon (Neon Chair) and Matt Western MP (Shadow Universities Minister).

Longley Park was shortlisted from around 90 nominations for the School or College Widening Access Award and we received a commendation for the work that we have done with HeppSY and through the Student Achievement team in promoting HE progression to students from widening access backgrounds and our comprehensive programme of support to help students with their applications.

Huge congratulations to the team and to Sheffield Hallam University who also picked up an award.
