Our opportunity
We are looking to recruit an individual to join one of our support staff teams, who has a flexible approach to supporting students and to play a key role in the continued development of pastoral support strategies in the Sixth Form working as part of the safeguarding and wellbeing team as well as wider teams within the Sixth Form
The role will encompass the following;
To play a key role in supporting the wellbeing of students, working closely with the senior wellbeing practitioner and the wider safeguarding team.
To provide social and emotional support for students
To support student progress and engagement in a range of contexts
To support student achievement and retention and support the role of teaching and support staff.
Experience of working with young people with additional needs, general educational qualifications at level three and good communication and organisational skill are needed. We welcome applications from those who are qualified Designated Safeguarding Deputies or willing to undertake training.
