Our opportunity
We are looking to recruit an individual to join our additional learning support team which works closely across all Sixth Form teams, who has a flexible approach to supporting students and will play a key role ensuring specific arrangements are in place for students' exams and assessments by working with the team to ensure required documentation is completed.
The role will require close working with the additional Learning Support Manager and the Exams Manager. The role also encompasses administration duties such as accurate recording keeping, arranging and documenting meetings and working with external agencies to acquire and documenting the required information for student's needs.
The role will require collaborative with learners, their families, schools, colleagues and external agencies to identify and identify a support plan for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to support with pre-entry and on-programme support to aid achievement of planned outcomes and progression.
Experience of working with young people with special educational needs and/ or disabilities including those with educational health and care plans, general educational qualifications at Level 3 and good communication and organisational skill are needed.
