Senior Wellbeing Officer

24 hours per week, term time

Grade 5 £27,803 - £30,296 - will be pro rata based on 24 hours, term time

We are looking to recruit an individual to join one of our support staff teams, who has a flexible approach to supporting students and to play a key role in the continued development of pastoral support strategies in the Sixth Form working as part of the safeguarding and wellbeing team as well as wider teams within the Sixth Form

The role will encompass the following;

  • To lead on and provide social and emotional and mental health support for students.
  • To support student attendance, progress, and engagement in a range of contexts
  • To support student achievement and retention and support the role of teaching and support staff.

Experience of working with young people with additional needs, general educational qualifications at level three and good communication and organisational skill are needed. We welcome applications from those who are qualified Designated Safeguarding Deputies or willing to undertake training.
