You will have opportunities to work alongside professional artists and designers to give you a greater understanding of the creative industries.

You will experiment with a variety of both traditional and experimental techniques, materials and processes, learn new skills, build up a substantial portfolio of work, and gain an insight into the various specialisms that you could follow at a higher level. The course covers areas such as drawing and painting, graphic design, fashion design and textiles, 3D design, fine art, photography, ceramics and design crafts.
A number of specifications will be changing and prospectus entries are based on information we have to date. This means that course content may be subject to change.
How will it be delivered?
Presentations of sketchbooks + portfolio work.
What can I do next?
Students from this course have gone on to pre-degree foundation and degree courses in art and design, fine art, textiles, graphic design, architecture, photography, fashion studies and interior design. The portfolio you produce over the course will enable you to show a wide range of relevant experience and skills for future interviews.
