Excellent performance and exciting destinations achieved by students at Longley Park Sixth Form
We’re particularly pleased for the 244 students who achieved high grades (A*/A/B A Level, Distinction* and Distinction Applied General). This number is almost 10% higher than in previous examination years with our pass rate higher than 95% across all our level three qualifications.
Jamie Davies, Principal, says: “I am so proud of the journey that every one of our students has taken to achieve these results. Each one has shown determination to be successful in their own way. With so many students accessing competitive higher education courses, apprenticeships and into employment you can see why Longley Park is the Sixth Form of choice for those students wanting to take their next steps in education.”
Almost 300 students have already successfully confirmed their places for university at a range of competitive institutions. The results students have achieved will provide the foundations for students to realise their aspirations.
