Results Information

As we approach results days, we wanted to write to celebrate the achievements of our students this year and make you aware of some information on next steps and the support we are offering.

Results day can often be an emotional day, no matter what your grades are. It is, after all a culmination of several years of hard work. However you feel on results day, it is good to talk. Our team of staff will be available on site from 8.30am, or you might find some of these apps useful

Results Days

We are proud of all the work that has been put into exams and final assessments by all our students this year. This is the first year that we have been able to return to exams and final assessments since 2019.

We hope that you will be coming to celebrate your results with us and each other on the results days. We will have a team of staff ready to help you with your next steps, including advice and guidance on university applications, as well as having representatives from local universities on site.

Thursday, 18th August - Level 3 (Vocational and A level) Results Day from 8:30am.

Thursday, 25th August - Level 1 and 2 (GCSE and vocational) Results Day from 8:30am.

Results can be collected from 8:30am from the Sixth Form and we will release these digitally on Cedar from 12-noon on each day.

The government have released a joint letter from Ofqual and UCAS for those students collecting their Level 3 results who have made university applications. You can see it here for more advice and links to useful websites: A letter to students from Ofqual and UCAS - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Next Steps

For those of you who have made university applications, we will have a team of staff and representatives from both Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Hull on site on Thursday 18th August to support you.

If you are not sure what your next step is going to be, or need more advice and guidance, our Pathways team is here to support you.

If you would like to know more, listen to UCAS’ Clearing Choices podcasts about all things to do with results day, and how to take control of your future, and discover your options in the UCAS Hub. For more information on marking and grading this year, check out Ofqual’s podcasts and blog post on grading for A levels and vocational qualifications in 2022.
