This is equivalent to 1 A Level
This course covers health, care of older people, individuals with specific needs and also early years (care and education). You will find out about the needs of different client groups and how they are supported in different Health and Social Care settings.
This course includes essential work placement so you develop practical skills and work alongside Health and Social Care Professionals.

Year 1: Two externally assessed exam units and five internally assessed assignment units.
Year 2: Two externally assessed exam units and four internally assessed assignment units.
What can I do next?
This course is usually studied with at least 2 other A-level equivalent subjects at Level 3.
