In this course you will extend your knowledge of topics such as probability, measures of location and spread and correlation. You will also study new topics including a selection of discrete and continuous distributions, hypothesis and significance testing. This A level will help you understand the application of techniques within the framework of the statistical enquiry cycle and the research methodologies used in experiments and surveys.

A Level Statistics is useful for a huge number of Higher Education courses including Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Operational Research. It can also lead to science and social science courses, business and accounting. This course opens pathways to apprenticeships and careers in many areas including Data Science, Journalism and Broadcasting and Quantitative Analysis/Risk Analysis.
